The Technical University of Denmark – often simply referred to as DTU – was founded in 1829 at the initiative of Hans Christian Ørsted (the father of electromagnetism) to develop and create value using the natural sciences and the technical sciences to benefit society.

Centered around an outdoor space called ‘Matematiktorvet’, AES Europe 2026 will use the three buildings of 303, 306 and 302.
All rooms are seperate classrooms and auditoriums. Rooms being used for critical listening have been acoustically tested by professionals, each one chosen to be most suitable for it’s purpose.
Included with the papers, workshops and session rooms will be the special events auditorium, Immersive Room in partnership with Genelec, 5.1 room, exhibition area, posters area, registration and networking spaces.
